First quarter of 2026 is in the books... from A Prim and (not so) Proper Quilter

..and progress was made.

Honestly, it's a miracle. I almost had a flimsy by March 31, but embroidery digitizing homework got in the way. But...I was very happy to have an epiphany moment while working on the homework (almost at the last minute) that made me feel so good about moving forward. I have, of late, been questioning my desire to commit to digitizing all the files I want to stitch for quilting my quilts. But that tiny peephole of light I saw last Monday was what spurred me on.

Lighter decorating happened this year for Christmas

I finished the baby quilt top a couple of weeks ago. I walked into my fabric room the next day looking for an appropriate fabric for the backing, and spied one of the fleece throws the Hubs and I purchased at Goodwill almost two years ago when we were shopping for our new puppies. Fall is finally here! from A Prim and (not so) Proper Quilter

Let’s see what’s happening.

Y’all, I am so grateful for autumn. It’s my favorite season because it’s finally a smidge cooler and it’s the most colorful! A few leaves have fallen and the puppies are going nuts over them…and the acorns. The Hubs and I figure they’re getting more fiber.

Fall is also my muse for quilting. Projects are filling my head and sewing space and I think this is the time of year when I break rules like the stupid one-project-at-a-time rule. There, I said it. Without further ado, here’s ...
